Nicoletta Rosellini is an Italian singer, born in 1991.
She started her musical path as a classical pianist when she was 7 years old
and joined her first rock band as singer at the age of 15, moving her first steps on stage.
She’s trained (and still in training) as a rock/pop singer.
After many experiences in local bands, in 2010 she became one of the founders of
Kalidia (melodic power metal), her main band where she also shows her abilities as
songwriter and lyricist. The band self-released a demo-EP and an album, leading them
to work with producer Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call, Victorius) and signing a record
deal with the Swedish label Inner Wond Recordings. With Kalidia, Nicoletta plays
extensively across Europe, both club shows and festivals. The band is currently
arranging their third album, to be released in 2021.
WALK IN DARKNESS
In 2015, Nicoletta joined the mysterious gothic/symphonic metal band Walk in Darkness, becoming their only connection with the world, as the rest of the band remains unknown. The band, which is exclusively a studio-project, recorded 2 albums and 2 singles and is currently recording the new album.
VIVALDI METAL PROJECT
In 2016, Nicoletta recorded a track for the all-start metal project Vivaldi Metal Project debut album, based on ‘The Four Seasons’ by Antonio Vivaldi. During 2018 she was contacted by mastermind Mistheria to join the live band of the project, with whom she played in Europe, including theater shows and major festival appearances, and released a live DVD. She will also be featured on two tracks of their upcoming album, to be released in late 2020/early 2021.
Nicoletta also joined lots of well-known metal acts during their live performances, including her guest appearance with Rhapsody Reunion (on their 'Farewell Tour') and power/prog metallers Overtures, with whom she has been on stage at many European festivals (Gods of Metal, Metaldays, SpazioRock Festival and more). Beside her metal career, she also did some collaborations in pop music. She collaborates with pianist Paolo Pagnani and his project White Circle.
